Commodore’s Logbook

We have lots going at the club, even as the sailing season draws to a close.

November 30^th – Last race of the season, we will give it a little seasonal style, why not come to the club at lunch time (Breakfast buns available 11:00 – 12:30) or at about 4pm for the Ducker Transom prize giving and have an early Christmas drink with a seasonal snack (while stocks last) with your club friends.
December 11^th – Christmas tunes, Mince Pies and Christmas merriment with the Red-Hot Strummers Ukulele Band. 
December 19^th – Members Canape Evening, Put your Sausages on sticks and bring them to the club to share with your fellow members and say happy Christmas. Zoes Friday Menu is also available between 7pm and 8.30pm (bookings only)
December 26^th – Boxing Day Carvery book with Zoe.
December 31^st – New Years Eve, selling fast book with Zoe for the best value new years eve party in town!
January 1^st – Bar is open at Lunch Time if you are needing a top up from the night before.
January 8^th – Cycling across America by our member Andrew Smith, hopefully with tales of close encounters with Bears. Book with Zoe if you would like to eat before.
January 9/10/11 & 23/24/25 Day Skipper Theory Course, with Andrew Smith – Contact [email protected] for more information.
January 18th – Zoe is putting on a Carvery Lunch, so book via Zoe
February 12^th – Safety Boat driver Louise Latham will tell us about her life as a professional musician, playing with Northern Opera among others and hopefully a tune or two. Book with Zoe if you would like to eat before.
March 12^th – Nick Hampson will tell us all about Triangulation Pillars and the Ordnance Survey, the basis of all navigation. Book with Zoe if you would like to eat before.

April, its not long away and we start sailing again!
