FF15 October news

As the sailing season draws to a close the Flying Fifteen Fleet will be sailing until the end of October. As this is a fun series its a good time for anyone who would like to try a Fifteen to come and have a go and see how exciting, close and fun the racing is. Remember a good competitive 15 can be picked up for around  £5-6K !

September saw the Class dinner which was well attended by current and past members of the class, and the Class meeting  the day after.
Keith Jamieson the retiring  Fleet Captain was unfortunately unable to attend due to other commitments which involved walking up Scafell Pike in the dark with a gale and in driving rain. He was missed at both. At the meeting David Heron was elected as fleet captain and Adam Cowley as Secretary . On behalf of the fleet, I would like to thank Keith for his commitment to the fleet and his work at representing us on various Committees. I doubt there are many other people with as much knowledge of the class, and as well as being Fleet Captain for 6 years , Keith is also Secretary of the UK Flying Fifteen association and treasurer of Flying Fifteen International.. We look forward to his continued presence in the fleet for the remainder of this season and beyond.

Thank you Keith.

Only 4 Sundays left, lets try and make them count. If anyone does fancy a sail, or race then let me know  [email protected] and we will try to accommodate.
