Welcome to the Royal Windermere Yacht Club
Our present clubhouse was opened in 1965, but we have occupied this site since the 1880's.
Our aim is to encourage and promote sailing and racing on Lake Windermere. We run an extensive racing programme from April to October, and social events throughout the year.
We are an RYA Recognised Training Centre and run power boat and sailing courses for our members and non-members - see the training section.

The GP Northern Area Championship will be held on 21-22 September.
